ABOUT SUZANNE
I was born and raised on a family farm in West Waterford, where I learned first-hand the value of hard work, fairness, and community. Those lessons stayed with me as I went on to study law and qualify as a barrister.
Over time, I realised that many disputes could be resolved in a better way — one that avoided the cost, stress, and lasting damage of litigation. That’s why I chose to qualify as a mediator and set up my own practice.
My purpose is simple: to help people in difficult situations reach amicable and fair settlements. Whether it’s a family navigating separation, a workplace under pressure, or a farming or equine dispute, I believe mediation offers a respectful, practical path forward where everyone’s voice can be heard.

"I had the pleasure of working with Suzanne during the sale and transfer of my business, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From our first meeting through to completion, Suzanne was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process.
Selling a business can be overwhelming, but Suzanne made everything feel straightforward. She explained each step clearly, dealt with every detail efficiently, and was always available to answer my questions and provide practical advice. Her attention to detail and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome gave me complete confidence from start to finish.
Thanks to Suzanne's expertise, the sale and transfer were completed smoothly and with minimal stress. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about their clients and delivers an outstanding professional service, I would have no hesitation in recommending Suzanne."

Life on the Family Farm
Growing up on a family farm in West Waterford gave me an early understanding of hard work, responsibility, and the importance of relationships. Farm life also brought exposure to the realities of family and business pressures, where practical communication and mutual respect mattered every day.

Discovering Law
My decision to study law came from a strong interest in people, fairness, and problem-solving. My legal education provided a solid foundation in advocacy, negotiation, and understanding the complexities that often arise in disputes.
Called to the Bar
After qualifying as a barrister, I developed experience working with clients through challenging and often stressful situations. This strengthened my appreciation for clear communication, careful listening, and the importance of finding practical ways forward.

A Career in Legal Practice
Working within a large legal practice gave me insight into complex disputes, professional standards, and the pressures that legal conflict can place on individuals, families, and businesses. It also reinforced the value of resolution-focused approaches where possible.
Working in the community
Alongside my legal work, I have always valued community connection and understanding people’s everyday realities. This practical, human perspective continues to shape my calm and approachable style as a mediator.

Establishing a Mediation Practice
I established my mediation practice to offer people an alternative to lengthy, stressful, and expensive disputes. My approach combines legal knowledge with empathy and practical guidance, helping clients move towards fair and workable resolutions.
